OpenScape Personal Edition is an IP softphone for installation on a notebook or PC.

Visually, the user interface offers the user a wide range of technical and graphical features that eliminate the need for a desktop phone.
The IP softphone is therefore a solution for those who want to dispense with their desktop phone or mobile users who do not have a regular desk and who regard their notebook PC as their office.
OpenScape Personal Edition is available in HFA and SIP versions and is installed without server components.
The HFA version is for operation with HiPath 3000, OpenScape Office and HiPath 4000.
The SIP variant is available for operation with HiPath 3000, OpenScape Office, HiPath 4000 (only for Video) and OpenScape Voice.
OpenScape Personal is currently only approved for operation with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
